Government Relations Executives Council

In a world of increasing complexity, government relations executives are called upon to mitigate risk and create value. The Council of Government Relations Executives helps senior executives achieve their primary goals by providing them with the tools and information needed to shape public policy.  The council will not be a lobbying or advocacy entity, however, its function will be its ability to bring together government relations experts who can raise issues and impart knowledge to their colleagues. Meeting topics will include some of the following:

  • Conducting effective government relations in a gridlocked government environment
  • Working with and utilizing the NGO community as part of a government relations strategy - best practices and case studies
  • Role of regulatory power by a government in the minority - lessons for business
  • Emerging trends in the economy and business that affect government policy making
  • Effective internal communications of the value of government relations

 The power of peer learning

Enduring relationships with trusted peers are the core of the council experience. Enhanced by our global, enterprise-wide reach, these relationships span the world and extend the value of council membership. Confidential peer dialogue provides you with a broader perspective and shared experiences, as well as access to specific knowledge and best practices.
