Career Development Seminar

The Future of Work: How to Grow and Develop Careers in a Dynamic New World
OCTOBER 04 - 05, 2018 | THE CONFERENCE BOARD | NEW YORK, NY

October 04 - 05, 2018

About This Seminar

The future world of work is quickly becoming reality, and with it comes the need for organizations to adapt their approaches to career growth and development. Artificial intelligence, robotics, and virtual reality are already impacting how we work and the pace of change will continue to accelerate. In addition, the workforce is becoming more mobile, more connected, more diverse, and is orienting itself toward a “gig economy” characterized by temporary, short-term, project-based assignments. In light of these changes, organizations are seeking guidance on how to help grow the careers of employees, thus contributing to higher levels of engagement, productivity and business growth.

This seminar exposes participants to those organizations and professionals who are putting actions in place to help their employees grow and thrive within the vast changes in work that are coming, and in some cases are already on our doorstep.
