  • When Your Competitor Makes a Big Mistake, How Do You Communicate? The headlines are about the company that has made a big mistake, but if you are in the same industry, your phones will ring from reporters. This session describes how companies can communicate when a competitor stumbles.
  • How Communicators Onboard New Executives. As new executives are placed in powerful spots, or in spots groomed for success, communicators have to start early to build his/her communications savvy. This panel discusses techniques to reach executives early and successfully.
  • Navigating Social Issues. This session looks at the way companies prepare for, and communicate during, sensitive social and political issues.
  • Keeping Daily Operations Going. How do great managers just keep the wheels spinning every day? Much of each day is taken up getting the routine work out the door. How can we do the everyday communication tasks more efficiently?

  • Presentation by an investigative reporter. What he/she sees in corporate issues; how he/she approaches a company communicator.
