Millennial Strategies: Pre-hire, Onboarding, Engagement and Retention
Millennials are now hitting the market in force and the result has been a changed and changing landscape for employees and employers. That technology will play a larger role is certain as enterprises become more social internally and externally, but a broader context must be addressed as well. This includes: culture, thinking beyond speed to contribution to total lifetime value, and how to affect real engagement among millennial workers.
From the perspective of demographics the millennial bubble is impossible to dismiss; yet organizations have been slow to find and implement strategies to harness the talent, innovation and enthusiasm of the future business leaders already transforming leading organizations. Despite sophisticated technologies driving efficiency and new levels of productivity effective communication may be the best tool at the disposal of organizations.
