Pre-Conference Seminar: Succession Management
The Succession Management Seminar has been an important element of the Leadership Development Conferences since 2005 and attracts senior practitioners who are looking for both thought leadership and best practices/tools/implementation ideas from leading companies. The audience is always deeply engaged in the topic and enjoys the chance to interact closely with peers and with speakers.
Succession Management, especially for the C-Suite and senior leadership, has been a topic of intense interest among the members of our senior Talent Management, Learning & Development and Leadership Development councils. In particular, these executives are looking for new thinking on:
- The Changing Profile of Leadership. How is an environment of increased regulation and public scrutiny affecting how leaders are assessed and developed?
- Building Longterm Collective Capability. How are companies embedding a strong leadership culture into succession management?
- Metrics that Matter. How are companies using the increased data available to integrate Succession with other talent management programs? What metrics are important to measure the success of Succession Management?
- Managing mobility is an important factor in building the leadership pipeline. What are the strategic and tactical considerations when making this considerable investment?
