The data, insights and knowledge collected by the Giving in Numbers survey and disseminated annually through the Giving in Numbers report are unrivaled. Conducted by CECP, in association with The Conference Board, the benchmark's importance to the sector is widely acknowledged by members of both organizations and other corporations that use the information to create and refine their giving strategies. The 2015 survey is now open for submissions. If your company has more than $2 billion in revenue, we would be delighted for you to be a part of this ongoing research.
Each year, around 250 leading multinationals participate in the Giving in Numbers survey, an intuitive online data collection, reporting, and benchmarking system designed specifically for corporate philanthropy measurement. The tool was commissioned with the goal of equipping giving professionals with an “apples-to-apples” system for analyzing the scope and scale of their philanthropic initiatives.
Results from our 2014 survey on 2013 contributions found, among other things, that 64 percent of companies increased their giving between 2010 and 2013.Moreover, it showed that the companies that increased giving in that period by more than 10 percent also increased median revenues by 11 percent.
These are findings that are all the more significant because of the high repeat participation we achieve. We want to continue that performance, and build our repository with the introduction of even more companies. So, if your company has revenues in excess of $2 billion, please click here to find out more.
Members from the CECP team will also be joining me in February for a special webcast regarding Giving in Numbers. The webcast will help you understand the survey in more detail, and give you the opportunity to ask questions. Please join us.
