By Alex Parkinson We're exploding out of the gate in the New Year at SNCR! There are a number of opportunities for you to participate in our events and programs, including a webcast for European audiences (but anyone can join), an in-person briefing in Palo Alto, and of course our Excellence in New Communications Awards, which are open to global submissions. See below for more on each of these. We're continuing to put the findings of Unlocking Value from Integrated Corporate Communications and Marketing under a microscope and examining how integrating communications and marketing can transform business with the following two events in the next two weeks: Webcast, January 10 I am happy to be joined by two experts in this area: Dr. Christine Bailey, formerly at Cisco and one of the ten most influential women in martech according to B2B Marketing, and Neville Hobson, senior managing consultant at IBM Social Consulting. Although focused on a European audience, the webcast is open to everyone. In-Person Briefing (Palo Alto), January 18 I'll be joined by three well-known figures in the digital communications and marketing world: Monique Edmondson, director of IT, social collaboration, community outreach, and learning, Cisco; Shel Holtz, principal, Holtz Communication + Technology; and Jen McClure, CEO, JEM Consulting and founder, Society for New Communications Research of The Conference Board (SNCR). In addition, the Excellence in New Communications Awards are open for submissions until Friday, February 3. Awards are granted in six divisions: Academic, Corporate, Government, Media, Nonprofit/NGO, and Technology Innovation, and six categories: Innovation in Digital Experience; Communications, Communities and Collaboration; Mobile Experience; Social Data and Social Listening Projects; Storytelling; and Digital and Social Media for Social Good.
