Following a volatile year in which threats to federal funding for the arts dissipated, businesses have shown a steadfast commitment to contributing financial and in-kind resources to support the sector. This is one of the key findings from the forthcoming Business Contributions to the Arts report, published by The Conference Board and Americans for the Arts. Join us on October 10 to hear more from the report, as well as examples in practice from Charity Boutte, head of multicultural marketing at Aetna.

Business Contributions to the Arts: 2018 Edition, to be released in October, delivers deep insights into the decisions and practices behind private sector arts support, identifying important best practices and trends.

Date and time: Wednesday, October 10, 2:00pmEST

Our panel for the webcast will reveal key findings from this report and uncover:

  • How companies value their long-term relationships with arts partners and can use them to provide employees important board service experiences
  • How manufacturing companies are driving total contributions as they identify the importance of arts to stimulating creativity
  • How arts organizations deliver both societal and business benefits, generally targeting local communities

My co-author, Emily Peck, and I will be joined by Aetna’s Charity Boutte, who will provide insight into the importance of arts support from a corporate perspective. The webcast is free to the public.
