Since joining Merck in 2023, Will leads Global Organizational Readiness for Merck HR, helping to plan and deliver large-scale, global HR initiatives that drive our EVP, improve the employee experience, accelerate adoption, and drive measurable business outcomes. He leads a team of change practitioners who partner with technology and business leaders to design scalable change and readiness plans. He works closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Workforce Planning and other partner functions to secure executive sponsorship, align stakeholders, and build readiness strategies that support leaders and employees through change.

Prior to joining Merck, Will led organizational effectiveness and change management efforts for Verizon’s AI & Data organization, shaping a culture strategy that boosted innovation, continuous learning, and employee engagement.

His career includes leading enterprise HR and organizational transformations across financial services and other global organizations—integrating role and process redesign, stakeholder alignment, communications, and readiness to enable sustainable adoption of new operating models and technologies. He is a frequent speaker on practical, people-centered approaches to adoption at scale.

Outside of work, Will loves to travel near and far with his family. He pretends to lead an active life by training jiu-jitsu for 6+ years (blue belt earned, ego and body occasionally bruised) and rounds out his athletic résumé playing second base for a community softball team — where he confidently chases ground balls and occasionally turns the double pla
