William leads Transformation & Workforce Innovation at Aon, where he is responsible for the firm’s offerings across AI transformation, strategic workforce planning, assessment solutions, skills, organizational design and benchmarking, and pay equity. He is based in Dallas, Texas.

William’s work centers on turning complex workforce and organizational data into actionable insights that enable advanced workforce strategy and sustainable competitive advantage.

Before joining Aon, William served as Mercer’s Chief Workforce Strategist, leading the firm’s global workforce strategy and people analytics consulting practice. On the corporate side, he held senior executive roles as Chief Data & Analytics Officer for H&R Block and for USAA’s life insurance, investment management, and asset management companies. Earlier in his career, William worked in corporate strategy at Liberty Mutual, contributed to several analytics-driven startups, and built a strong academic foundation, directing a research lab at the University of Missouri–Kansas City and teaching at leading business schools, including UC Berkeley, Washington University in St. Louis, and Fudan University in Shanghai, China.

William is a recognized thought leader in workforce strategy and transformation. He speaks frequently at academic and industry forums and has published in top academic journals, including Leadership Quarterly, Journal of Experimental Social Psychology, and PLOS One.

William graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College with an A.B. in Social Studies and earned an M.S. in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.
