Vanessa Viviano is a Learning, Diversity & Inclusion Program Specialist at Bechtel, where she leads the design, development, and execution of the Office of D&I’s inclusive learning strategy to cultivate a strong culture of belonging. She also oversees measurement and reporting for the company’s D&I programs across the enterprise.

With over 15 years of experience in learning and development, Vanessa brings a servant leadership approach and a track record of delivering strategic learning solutions aligned with business objectives.

Since joining Bechtel in 2022, Vanessa has played a key role in shaping programs that support leadership development, performance management, early career onboarding, and inclusive workplace practices. She has also worked closely with teams and individuals across the company to improve collaboration and build stronger team dynamics through coaching and facilitated workshops.

In a previous role, Vanessa supported Bechtel’s Nuclear, Security & Environmental (NS&E) global business unit, embedding diversity and inclusion into onboarding and employee engagement strategies, helping to strengthen organizational culture and advance people-focused priorities.

Vanessa holds a bachelor’s degree in hospitality leadership and human resource development from James Madison University and a master’s degree in organization development and knowledge management from George Mason University.
