Ted Barrall has over 30 years of Human Resources experience in various leadership roles and has been the Director of Compensation and Benefits at Friedkin since 2012. He also serves on the Board of the Texas Business Group on Health.

 Based in Houston, Texas, Friedkin is a family of brands in auto, entertainment, hospitality, investments, and sports. Ted’s focus is on supporting 2,700 associates in Fredkin’s automotive companies and expansion into the UK.

Ted is passionate about pursuing the triple aim in healthcare benefits: improving on health and health outcomes, cost, and the member experience. Recent projects include efforts to reduce high-cost claims, setting up advanced primary care with a local partner in Houston, and optimizing onsite wellness and health coaching programs. Ted is currently transitioning pharmacy benefits to transparent PBM.

Ted has a bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley and a master’s from Indiana University, Bloomington.
