Taylor N. Sommers is a seasoned administrative and operations leader with extensive experience in board governance, executive communications, and organizational coordination. As Senior Director of System Administration at Northwell Health, she partners with the Board Chair and senior leadership to support the planning and execution of board and committee meetings, manage key communication channels, and enhance governance effectiveness. She also oversees trustee onboarding and collaborates with Legal on bylaw review and best-practice implementation.

Previously, Taylor served as Senior Advisor, Operations, acting as a liaison between senior leadership and the Board of Trustees to manage high-priority initiatives and confidential projects. She led the development of systemwide publications, coordinated marquee governance and engagement events, and refined communication processes across multiple platforms. Her earlier roles in Shared Services HR included managing leadership communications, supporting budget and operational reviews, and guiding major organizational programs—from leadership development to systemwide experience initiatives.

Taylor began her career in event operations before joining Northwell and continues to demonstrate a commitment to service through her volunteer work with the Northwell Community Scholars Program, mentoring high school students in personal development and college readiness. She holds a B.A. in Communications and Media Studies, with a minor in Accounting, from CUNY Queens College.
