Suzanne Smetana is the Head of ESG Investment Integration at State Street Global Advisors and is responsible for ensuring the execution of ESG integration across investment teams. She also oversees cross-functional collaboration on ESG initiatives as well as consistency in content and messaging. Most recently she managed ESG institutional investment product development and was responsible for development of new ESG products and overall management of the offerings across all asset classes. 

Before joining State Street Global Advisors, Ms. Smetana previously held multiple senior leadership roles at Fidelity Investments during her 12-year tenue. Prior to Fidelity she spent 8 years as a venture capitalist, making direct equity investments into early-stage technology companies, leading the construction of syndicates, raising investment capital and serving as a Director on the boards of portfolio companies. She also has experience in investment banking and management consulting.

Ms. Smetana has an MBA in Global Business Management from Babson College and a BS in Accounting from Boston College.
