Sue Seifert

Sue Seifert is the Program Director for the HR Technology Council at The Conference Board. She is a recently retired HR executive with more than 35 years of experience leading HR transformation, people strategy, and technology modernization.

Most recently, Sue served as Senior Director of HR Systems at Owens Corning, where she led global HR systems, payroll operations, M&A integrations, and people analytics. She directed global HR technology initiatives supporting workforce transformation and business growth across multiple regions and business units.

Throughout her career, Sue held leadership roles across manufacturing and corporate environments spanning labor relations, HR business partnership, talent management, and enterprise transformation. Beginning her career in information technology before transitioning into human resources leadership, she brings a unique perspective shaped by experience across both technology and the full spectrum of HR practitioner roles.

Known for combining strategic thinking with operational excellence, Sue has led organizations through large-scale transformation, organizational change, and business modernization, including enterprise-wide technology implementations, and operating model redesigns while keeping people and business outcomes at the center.

Over the course of her career, Sue built a reputation for creating strong partnerships, simplifying complexity, and delivering practical solutions that enable organizations and people to thrive through change, helping organizations improve scalability, streamline operations, and strengthen workforce capabilities.

Sue holds a bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from Juniata College.
