Global EVP and Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer, McCann Worldgroup

Singleton Beato is Program Director of the Opportunity & Access Optimizers Council at The Conference Board. She is a multi-award-winning executive with more than 30 years of experience designing and delivering organizational transformation strategies that optimize performance and drive scalable, profitable growth. Her career spans senior talent leadership and culture transformation roles across private, public, and nonprofit sectors, including financial services, lifestyle and entertainment, and marketing and communications.

As Global EVP and Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer at McCann Worldgroup, Singleton served on both the Global Executive Committee and Global Leadership Team. Among her many accomplishments, she defined a distinctive DE&I vision, mission, and governance strategy, supported by branded messaging, enabling platforms, and pragmatic accountability frameworks designed to mitigate bias in behaviors and decision-making across the enterprise. Her deep understanding of the complex, multidimensional nature of diversity led to a significant expansion of her remit, extending beyond internal DE&I strategy to include inclusive marketing education, advisory services, and consulting for global brand leaders.

Prior to McCann Worldgroup, Singleton served as EVP of Diversity Strategy and Talent Development at the American Association of Advertising Agencies (4As), where she advised industry leaders on inclusive business and talent practices. She created flagship initiatives and publications aimed at strengthening the talent pipeline for the advertising and marketing industry. During her tenure, she assumed P&L responsibility and led the development of revenue-generating talent solutions, partnerships, and programs designed to expand the knowledge, capabilities, and skills of the workforce across the advertising, marketing, and communications ecosystem.

Singleton holds a master’s degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University and serves on the boards of several nonprofit organizations.
