Silvana Nuzzo is a Principal in the New York office of Pay Governance. Silvana has 25 years of experience serving in both consulting and corporate roles. Throughout her career she has supported and advised compensation committees and management teams across multiple industries on executive pay design and corporate governance matters, with particular emphasis on the design of incentive programs that support the organization’s short and long-term business strategy.

Prior to joining Pay Governance in 2022, Silvana was the Global Head of Total Rewards at Argo Group, previously served as Director of Executive Compensation at International Flavors and Fragrances and held consulting roles at both Frederic W. Cook and Pearl Meyer & Partners. Silvana holds a B.A. in Literature from Hunter College and a M.B.A. in Finance and International Business from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Silvana currently serves as an adjunct associate professor at Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies. She has been a speaker on compensation and corporate governance topics for various organizations.
