Sharon Cox joined the Texas Association of Counties (TAC) in 2021 in the Health Benefit Services department and manages the account teams as well as the Health & Employee Benefit Pool’s strategic development and vendor relationships.  Prior to TAC Sharon worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas for over 20 years, ending her career as a Strategic Account Executive.  She has spent her career advocating for patients in the healthcare system and currently works on strategies to lower the cost of healthcare for the counties in Texas.
