Nancy Wolk is the Program Director for the Shared Services Council and the Automation Executives Council at The Conference Board.

Previously Nancy spent 28 years with Alcoa (Arconic), the last six years as the Vice President Global Shared Services and Chief Information Officer. In her role as Vice President, Global Shared Services, Nancy led 1000+ employees globally to identify savings opportunities, control enhancements, expand service offerings and delivery efficiencies across Finance, Procurement, Human Resources, and Commercial process areas.

Nancy held managerial roles of increasing responsibility in the IT organization, culminating as Chief Information Officer of Alcoa. As CIO, Nancy oversaw global IT policy, strategy and execution, focusing on better alignment with the businesses, cyber security, and IT modernization. She also partnered across the corporation to develop automation strategy and deployment plans for both manufacturing and the corporate function.  Previously, as CIO of Global Business Services (GBS), Nancy was deeply involved in implementing Alcoa’s Enterprise Business Systems and dramatically improving the efficiency of Alcoa’s IT operations through consolidation and third party sourcing, making it possible to maintain benchmark operations. Earlier, Nancy served as CIO of Alcoa Europe and of Global Rolled Products, where she led IT expansions in Europe, Russia, and China.

Nancy graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a double major in Applied Mathematics and Administration & Management Sciences. Throughout her career, she has served as a mentor to up-and coming leaders. A member of the Arconic Women’s Network (AWN), Nancy served as the co-chair of the global AWN board. She is an active volunteer and serves on the Advisory Council for the Heinz College at Carnegie Mellon University.
