Raquel Zagui is a recognized international executive, known for her belief that people should be free to be their authentic selves in the workplace. She currently serves as the Vice President of Human Resources and Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) at HEINEKEN Brazil, the second-largest player in the national beer market. Since joining the company in 2017, Raquel has led the transformation of the HR strategy for more than 14,000 employees. Her leadership has consistently earned her recognition as one of Brazil’s most admired HR professionals in the annual Gestão RH survey.
In 2024, Raquel took on the additional role of Global Head of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for HEINEKEN, a testament to her passion for building a more inclusive and equitable workplace. Throughout her career, she has held key HR positions at leading global companies such as Whirlpool and Bacardi, where she also represented Brazil in global Women in Leadership programs, advancing the agenda for inclusion and diversity.
Raquel holds a degree in Mechanical Production Engineering from Escola de Engenharia Mauá (SP), with a specialization in Human Resources from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (SP), and an International Executive MBA from FIA Business School (SP). She is certified by the Coaching Training Institute (CTI) in Chicago and has completed leadership programs at Harvard Business School (Boston/Shanghai) and INSEAD (Singapore). Raquel speaks Portuguese, English, Spanish, and Italian.
