Prabhat Pani has been associated with Tata Trusts, India, since 2016, and is currently Senior Advisor – Partnerships. Earlier he has managed portfolios of Tata Water Mission (drinking water and sanitation), and Digital Interventions (digital literacy, and data-driven governance). Prior to that, he has worked in for-profit entities for 30+ years, much of it in the Tata Group. 

Since 2019, Prabhat is associated with SPJIMR, Mumbai (a top B-School in India), as Chairperson, Post-Graduate Program in Development Management, and as Head of Social Sector Interventions, focused upon building capacity of social sector professionals, and upon research in the social sector.
