Nikhil Bumb is a senior leader at FSG, a global nonprofit that partners with leaders across sectors and collaboratives to shift systems through social impact strategies via customized consulting, thought leadership, innovative learning communities, and inclusive markets initiatives. Nikhil leads FSG’s corporate practice and focuses on purpose-led and market shaping strategies to build more inclusive and collaborative systems leading to increased economic opportunity, societal well-being, and improved outcomes for undervalued communities and the planet.  He is a co-author of the Purpose Playbook and the Beyond Trade-Offs series originally published in The Economist, as well as a co-founder of FSG’s Purpose Studio.

Nikhil brings a depth of experience that spans a range of industries as well as issues—including health, agriculture, sustainability, financial inclusion, economic development, and humanitarian relief. He has advised companies such as 3M, Bristol Meyers Squibb, Cargill, Genentech, JP Morgan Chase, Kimberly-Clark, and Merck. In addition to multinational corporations, Nikhil has advised governments, investors, NGOs, foundations, and social enterprises across Africa, the Americas, Asia, and Europe. Prior to FSG, he was with Technoserve, Medtronic, and consulting firms Deloitte and ZS Associates.

Nikhil is currently based in the Washington, DC area and has lived and worked in Kenya and India. He has electrical engineering degrees from Princeton University (Bachelors) and Georgia Tech (Masters) as well as an MBA from the Yale University School of Management.
