Nicole Cody is the Vice President, Total Rewards at International Paper.  Nicole joined the company in November, 2000 in the Corporate Compensation department.  She has held a series of HR business partner roles across multiple businesses and locations within IP.  These include working as an HR business partner in Memphis Tennessee, Stamford Connecticut and Brussels Belgium; as a Mill HR Manager in Pineville Louisiana and Valliant Oklahoma; and as the Business HR Leader for Global Finance and Business HR Manager for Mill Manufacturing.  She became HR Director, Global Manufacturing and a member of the HR leadership team in 2016. She became HR Director, Global Cellulose Fibers and IP Asia in 2018 and most recently served as Director, Global Compensation and Benefits.  She was named Vice President, Total Rewards in 2023.

In addition to her professional responsibilities at International Paper, Nicole is a member of the Business Roundtable Health & Retirement Coordinating Committee and the Health Transformation Alliance Medical Strategy Committee.  Nicole has served on the Board of Directors of the non-profit BridgesUSA since 2020 and was named Board Chair in 2023. Nicole also joined the board of WKNO Public Media in 2024.

A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Nicole graduated from the University of New Orleans with a B.A. in English Literature. Nicole and her husband Michael live in Germantown, Tennessee.
