Nargis Rana, Sr. Director Human Resources, functions as the HR leader for Medtronic’s Global Finance organization where she serves as the HR Partner to the CFO and is responsible for developing and executing on critical HR strategies.

Nargis has held various roles of increasing responsibility at Medtronic and Covidien. Prior to her current role, she held the role of Talent Management and Development leader to the Minimally Invasive Therapies Group (MITG) business. Her contributions to MITG and the Global Talent and Leadership Development COE include building out the current center of expertise (COE) structure and advancing the MITG talent agenda.

Nargis also served as an HR Business Partner to the General Surgical business at Covidien and has held a variety of HR related roles with heavy emphasis in the areas of Organization Development and Change Management. Nargis and her husband Sachin recently relocated to Minneapolis, MN.

Nargis earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Hofstra University and a master’s degree in I/O Psychology from the University of New Haven.
