Monica Fernandes, RN, COHC has distinguished herself as a leader in corporate health and wellness for the Bayer organization in U.S., Canada, and Latin America.  She is a specialist in OSHA compliance, program implementation, and collaborating with her partners in Human Resources, Legal, and consulting stakeholders.  Her career has been dedicated for more than 30 years to improving employee health outcomes, fostering organizational resilience, and creating a culture of well-being. Monica has worked diligently in her role on the CDC Advisory Board where she contributes to the development of evidence-based public health policies and best practices.  She serves as a Director on the Board of the NJ State Association of Occupational Health Nurses where she advises on Occupational Health Nursing education programs. With a strong foundation in health promotion, occupational health, and behavioral change strategies, Monica has consistently been at the forefront of innovative wellness initiatives that align health goals with business performance.  Her strategic vision and hands-on leadership have earned her recognition as a trusted advisor in the field of workplace health.
