A “Boomer Sooner” graduate in probably the worst era of OU football, Mike started an early career in Walmart operations and store management prior to completing his degree in Oklahoma. He earned his Series 7, 63 and 65 spending 3 years in the investment community before being recruited into the corporate benefit space.

For over 2 decades, Mike has overseen teams managing comprehensive employer benefit programs, ensuring the well-being and financial security of employees. For the last 15, he has served Walmart’s 1.6 million U.S. associates and their families as a key member of the Global Total Rewards team.  As Senior Director for Benefits and Wellbeing, he oversees teams dedicated to medical Centers of Excellence, pharmacy, medical pharmacy, EAP, pro-active mental health support programs and mental well-being education for leadership.
