Michelle Pisani is the Director of Benefits & Recognition at Blue Shield of California, a role she has held for the past seven years as part of her ten year tenure with the organization. In her current position, she leads the strategy, design, and administration of employee benefits, retirement, and recognition programs, ensuring they support our employees’ well being and align with organizational objectives. Prior to joining Blue Shield, Michelle worked as a benefits consultant, partnering with clients to develop and manage comprehensive benefits strategies, plan design, and ongoing administration. She holds the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation and brings deep expertise in benefits strategy and program governance.
