Matt Egol is a leading practitioner in digital strategies for Strategy&, PwC’s strategy consulting business. Based in New York, he is a Principal with PwC US. Within Strategy&’s Digital Services team, Matt works with clients across the marketing and media ecosystem to help them accelerate the development and build out of new disruptive strategies and capabilities for marketing and sales effectiveness.
Matt leads the Strategy&'s work in digital with consumer and retail clients, and also works with other marketing intensive clients in other industry sectors such as media, marketing services, financial services, and healthcare. He is the Chief Strategy Officer for Strategy&'s Digital Services team, which leverages human centered design, rapid prototyping and data analytics to unlock new opportunities for innovation across industries.
Some recent high-profile projects have included: working with a leading global CPG to develop next generation capabilities for digital leadership across content marketing, mobile, social, analytics and eCommerce; helping a major media company develop a digital marketing services business; working with a leading global bank to develop new capabilities for creating, distributing, and optimizing the use of content and social media across its lines of business; and working with a global BtoB manufacturer to develop the roadmap for eCommerce and lead generation and to enroll country and BU teams against prioritized opportunities.
Matt has more than 20 years of consulting experience. Before joining Strategy&, he worked for Arthur D. Little. Matt holds a BA in economics from Dartmouth College, from which he graduated Phi Beta Kappa, and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
