Martinique M. Smith, Senior Director, Benefits – Americas, Global Payments Inc., appointed to her current position in 2024, leads strategy, governance, and administration of health & welfare and retirement programs across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Bermuda, and Chile. She oversees end-to-end benefits operations including vendor management, compliance (ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA), benefits technology and automation, annual enrollment, absence and leave programs, and large-scale mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures impacting more than 27,000 employees. Martinique previously held leadership and consulting roles with Willis Towers Watson, The Coca-Cola Company, Coca-Cola Refreshments, Veritiv, TIAA-CREF, and other national organizations, where she directed complex benefit transitions, pension and defined contribution plan governance, and multi-million-dollar vendor negotiations. She is recognized for driving operational excellence, improving employee experience, and aligning total rewards strategy with business outcomes, and holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

She had obtained a Bachelor's Degree of Business Administration at Howard University.
