Marina Hong is the Senior Vice President & Head of Human Resources for North America and Global Enabling Functions at Bayer, a role she has held since January 2025. In this capacity, she oversees HR for over 20,000 employees across Bayer’s Crop Science, Pharmaceuticals, and Consumer Health divisions, which together generate more than $15 billion in revenue and 17,000 employees across Enabling Functions globally. From June 2022 to January 2025, she was part of a small group of leaders as Lead Catalyst that was selected to develop the new Bayer AG operating model, transforming the business growth through Humanocracy, Agile and leadership journeys by shaping the future of work.

With over 25 years of international HR experience spanning the Americas, Europe, and Asia, Marina has built a diverse career across multiple industries, including life sciences, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, industrial gases, banking, professional consulting, and chemicals.

Marina holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on Human Resource Management from the University of Wisconsin and a graduate diploma in Personnel Management from the Singapore Institute of Management. Since June 2023, Marina has also served as a Board member for the Community Food Bank of New Jersey, contributing her expertise to their HR and Inclusion strategies.
