Lorenzo Patelli

Lorenzo Patelli is an assistant professor at the School of Accountancy of the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver. Prior to joining Daniels, he taught at Benedictine College and previously at Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands. He earned his PhD in business administration and management with a concentration in accounting from Università Bocconi in 2006.

His areas of interests are performance management and corporate governance. He has published academic research papers in a number of journals, including Corporate Governance: An International Review, Journal of Accounting, Auditing and Finance, Long Range Planning, Management Accounting Research, and European Accounting Review. Patelli has served as editor of the Journal of International Business and as an ad-hoc reviewer for many journals. He has received a number of academic honors, including several teaching excellence awards and the 2008 David Solomons Prize from Management Accounting Research.
