Lene Bjørn Serpa leads the corporate sustainability team at the global shipping and logistics company A.P. Moller - Maersk, responsible for the global ESG/sustainability strategy and integration, human rights programme and corporate citizenship efforts.

She has been with Maersk since 2011. Lene has over 25 years of experience in corporate sustainability and responsible business conduct, and is Chair of the Board of the UN Global Compact Network Denmark. She is co-author of a book on integrating sustainability into corporate strategy (Squaring the Sustainability Circle / Strategisk bæredygtighed) and holds a master’s degree from Copenhagen Business School.
