As Vice President - Communications, Marketing, and Sustainability, Mester leads the direction and execution of the Company’s marketing, communications, and sustainability strategy, driving value, client engagement, and business development for healthcare delivery and discovery partners, stockholders, team members, and communities. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and internal and external stakeholders, Mester shapes a unified brand presence, positioning Healthpeak as a sustained leader in the healthcare real estate sector. Responsibilities encompass overseeing enterprise-wide internal and external marketing and communications initiatives, from print publications to digital content, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Additionally, Mester leads the development and execution of an integrated sustainability communications plan, advancing the Company’s corporate impact efforts. Mester also serves as a key contributor to internal leadership forums. She is the Co-Chair of the inaugural Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accountability (“IDEA”) Council and a member of the Social Responsibility Council, fostering a culture of inclusiveness and setting KPIs to promote diversity, inclusion, belonging, wellness, volunteerism, and philanthropy in the workplace.

Mester was a team member at Physicians Realty Trust (formerly NYSE: DOC) from 2016 until its merger with Healthpeak in 2024, most recently as Director - Corporate Marketing and Communications.

Mester earned her Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Kent State University and graduated summa cum laude. In 2020, she was named a Marketing Influencer by GlobeSt Real Estate Forum, and in 2020 and 2022, she earned a Platinum Individual Achievement Award from the International MarCom Awards. Under Mester’s leadership, Physicians Realty Trust earned MarCom Gold Awards for its 2022 Annual Report and 2022 ESG Report, respectively. She was also responsible for launching the Company’s award-winning corporate sustainability reporting platform. From 2022-2023, Mester chaired Physicians Realty Trust’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council, which received national recognition for excellence in 2022. In 2023, under her leadership, the Company earned Nareit Leader in the Light industry honors for sustainability efforts. Also in 2023, Mester was the inaugural recipient of Physicians Realty Trust’s highest honor, the John Sweet C.A.R.E. Award, named after the Company’s co-founder and core values.

Mester is the Co-Chair of the Nareit Communications Council and a CEO Action for Diversity and Inclusion signatory-led community member. She is a marketing and executive committee member of the Board of Directors for Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward Association.
