Lawrence A. Cunningham is Director of the John L. Weinberg Center for Corporate Governance at the University of Delaware, frequent public speaker and author of many books, including The Essays of Warren Buffett.  He is currently a director of two large public companies: Markel Group, where he is NomGov Chair, and Constellation Software Inc., where he is Vice Chairman, and previously served on two others.  Cunningham received NACD's B. Keneth West Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018 and in 2025 he was named to Directors & Boards magazine's “Directors to Watch” list.
