Kathryn joined Kraton in 2002 and is currently the Vice President of R&D for the Polymers business segment. Kathryn’s expertise is in new product development for a variety of consumer, medical and automotive applications. She is process driven while focusing on people development to equip the next generation of innovators for Kraton.

Since 2015, Kathryn has led global innovation efforts for Kraton Polymers which include New Product Development, Application Development and Technical Service. Dr. Wright is a 23-year Kraton veteran, having held various R&D leadership roles related to specialty polymers, emerging businesses, IR latex, circularity, and tread enhancement additives for the tires market.

Dr. Wright holds a BSc in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Florida, and a MSc and Ph.D. in Polymer Science & Engineering from the University of Massachusetts. Dr. Wright is also an inventor of more than 20 distinct patent families.
