Kathy Mahieu joined CuraLinc Healthcare in 2022 as Senior Vice President of Strategy. Kathy has more than 25 years of proven experience as a thought-leader focused on creating innovative, human-centric solutions to improve the member experience, expand access to mental health care and support the development of high-performing organizations. In her role, Kathy is responsible for leading product strategy, designing, developing, and managing CuraLinc’s robust product portfolio, and leveraging client and customer insights to drive innovation that delivers meaningful outcomes for both members and their employers. 

Prior to joining CuraLinc, Kathy was the Senior Vice President of Product Strategy and Innovation at Magellan Health and Director of Digital Product Innovation and Strategic Partnerships with Aetna Behavioral Health.

During this time, Kathy developed virtual care and network strategies and established strategic partnerships to differentiate and advance innovation and transformation in behavioral health care delivery. She was also responsible for behavioral health product development and market and consumer insights to inform and guide innovation. Kathy facilitated plan sponsor and provider leadership forums to collaborate on new products, solutions, and approaches that promote the delivery of quality behavioral health care.

For the majority of her career, Kathy led the Behavioral Health Solutions Practice for Aon Hewitt. Kathy worked with Fortune 100 employers to evaluate and design EAP and behavioral health care programs. She also developed innovative solutions and global strategies that effectively address mental well-being in the workplace. Kathy is a recognized expert on the topics of EAP, behavioral health, workplace mental health, and mental health parity compliance.

Kathy holds a Bachelor of Science in Business with a minor in Secondary Education, and a Master of Business Administration from Sacred Heart University.  She also holds a Master of Arts Certification in Elementary Education from Fairfield University. As a certified elementary school teacher, Kathy worked for several years in the public school system in Connecticut and continues to tutor young students in the community.
