Karl Belrin brings decades of tax experience in the energy and shipping sectors, helping global groups navigate complex rules. His work links tax strategy to business goals, ensuring compliance while enabling investment and flexibility. Karl advises on industry regimes, international tax policy and transfer pricing, with a practical focus on risk and value. He steers tax and TP in deals and audits.

In the green transition, he has led TP work for large renewable projects and was closely involved in what he calls Denmark’s largest TP audit while at Ørsted. He recently co-authored a Tax Notes International Special Report promoting OECD FAR-based, balanced approaches.
