Julie van Waveren is the North America Career Leader in the Multinational Client Group at Mercer. She has deep knowledge on how to address and prepare for the future of work and digital transformation focusing on planning the future workforce and workplace, addressing the digital skills shortage and helping companies build the new talent ecosystem. She is an expert in People strategy and HR innovation, working with Mercer’s Innovation Hub to  bring cutting edge ideas to clients.

Julie brings more than 15 years of experience specialized in Talent strategy and talent acquisition and leading business for growth. Previous to this role Julie led the Career Business for Mercer Mexico, bringing together her consulting expertise to transform a business from a downturn to high growth business, diversifying it’s portfolio and leading a diverse and high performing team.

In her past 10 years in Mercer Julie has held 7 different roles and lived in 3 diverse regions making her really passionate about growth opportunities, diversity and making migration possible. Raised in Argentina by her Argentinian mother and Dutch father, Julie has lived all her life at the intersection of 2 cultures.

Julie holds a Bachelor degree in Sociology and a Masters degree in Strategic Human Resources from St. Andrew’s University in Buenos Aires and is qualified in personality assessments (Hogan, NEO-PI-r) and coaching processes.
