Jeff Stanley, MD serves as Medical Director of the Virta Medical Professional Corporation and is a practicing physician and senior clinical leader at Virta Health, the leader in metabolic disease reversal.

Board certified in Internal Medicine and a diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine, Dr. Stanley brings nearly a decade of experience delivering and scaling innovative metabolic care. Since joining Virta in 2016, he has played a key role in shaping the company’s clinical model and leading frontline provider teams focused on improving outcomes for patients with complex chronic conditions.

Prior to Virta, Dr. Stanley practiced within Kaiser Permanente, one of the nation’s largest and most respected integrated health systems.

He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Oregon Health & Science University and earned his medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California.
