Dev is leading the effort to chart the course of strategic implementation of NEOM, a US$500 billion effort to create a city that has environmental preservation at its heart and is an experiment for futuristic urban living.  Prior to taking on this exciting role in the Northwest frontier of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, he was an advisor to Corporate Chieftains and Boards, and several public and private institutions.  He was a former Vice-President of the World Bank Group overseeing its Financial & Private Sector Network, where he was also a member of the Financial Stability Board in Basel, Switzerland, oversaw the Ease of Doing Business Report and several practices of the World Bank covering a wide area of World Bank Advisory services from Financial Services and inclusion to Competitiveness and Innovation.  Prior to the World Bank, Dev served as the Director of the McKinsey Global Institute based in Shanghai, China, and before that as Director of Practice Management of McKinsey’ Global Strategy Practice based out of Washington DC.  Born in Singapore, Dev obtained his PhD in Business Economics & Public Policy, and International Business from Indiana University, Bloomington, USA.
