Jacob Allen is a Senior Partner with MGT, leading the Social Impact practice which partners with leading mission-driven organizations to maximize their impact through strategy, performance monitoring and impact evaluation (M&E), and effective implementation. He is a global expert at maximizing corporate impact (through ESG and CSR), designing M&E systems that both prove and improve impact, helping nonprofit networks transform for greater consistency and effectiveness, and designing and managing multi-sector partnerships.   

Over the past 20 years, Jacob has worked with hundreds of mission-driven organizations around the world, including leading corporations and corporate philanthropies, international NGOs, and nonprofit providers. He has led the strategic design, measurement, and implementation of social impact programs run by former US presidents, major corporations, private foundations, and national and global nonprofits. In recent years, Jacob has additionally specialized in large-scale transformation and change management to dramatically accelerate progress toward the organization’s mission (including with Prudential Financial, Wounded Warrior Project, Ultimate Medical Academy, Project Lead the Way, the Alzheimer’s Association, and more). A broader sample of clients includes Bristol Myers Squibb, Toyota North America, BDT Capital, Goldman Sachs, Lumina Foundation, Strada Education Network, the George W. Bush Institute, the Clinton Foundation, United Way, Junior Achievement, the Nature Conservancy, the National Academy Foundation, and many more. 

Jacob is a thought leader on maximizing impact, with major articles and reports that include Quantifying the Value of Impact Investing, The Giving State, and Stop Starving Scale: Unlocking the Potential of Global NGOs. Jacob currently serves on the international board of Mary’s Meals, which provides a daily meal in school to more than 2.5 million children living in desperate poverty in 18 countries around the world.
