The Conference Board
Jing Sima is a senior economist at The Conference Board. She joined The Conference Board in 2000 and has since been working in the US and Global Business Cycle Indicators Program. She leads research projects on macroeconomics in Emerging Markets, with a focus on structural changes, monetary policy, capital and financial market developments, trade flows, as well as systemic risks. She also produces and regularly appears on The Conference Board Economics Watch® Emerging Markets View, which focuses on the measurement of emerging economies and helps business leaders understand risks as well as identify opportunities in emerging markets.
In addition, Sima Also leads research analysis and produces The Conference Board Leading Economic Index® (LEI) for major emerging economies including China, Brazil, India, and Mexico.
Sima received her MBA in finance and investment from Baruch College, CUNY, and her B.A. in economics from the Capital University of Economics and Business in Beijing.
