Based in the US Hannah works to build effective corporate board oversight of business impacts posed by sustainability issues. Hannah partners with corporate boards, investors, and key governance partners to integrate material sustainability risks and opportunities into board decision making, drive strong long-term financial performance, and increase corporations' competitive advantage. She leads the team's work on providing board oversight recommendations for companies and investors on environmental and social issues.

 Hannah has co-authored and contributed to a number of Ceres reports on board sustainability governance including Lead from the top: Building sustainability competence on corporate boards (2017) Systems Rule: How board governance can drive sustainability performance (2018) and Getting Climate Smart: A primer for corporate directors in a changing environment (2018).

 Hannah joined Ceres in 2015 as the executive associate and assistant to the CEO and President at Ceres, where she was responsible for directly supporting the President, serving as the staff liaison to the Ceres board of directors, and staffing the executive and governance committees of the Ceres board. Prior to joining Ceres, Hannah held positions at MIT’s Sloan School of Business and as an AmeriCorps member at a small land trust in California’s Central Valley.

Hannah holds a bachelor's degree in environmental studies and health policy with a minor in music from Brandeis University. She holds an Investment Foundations Certificate from the CFA Institute and is a Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting Credential Holder from the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB).
