Laura Romanenko is the Director of Talent Acquisition for Hill+Knowlton Strategies’ U.S. region. She oversees the firm’s recruitment of top talent across the U.S. She also leads the H+K US Training Team and is a champion of H+K’s recognition and rewards initiatives.
Under Laura’s leadership, attracting and hiring diverse employees has grown significantly over the last several years. Laura is a senior member of H+K’s Distinction team and Global Talent Leaders. She has been instrumental in rolling out new recruitment technology and best practices across the globe focusing on enhancing H+K’s employer brand. As a result, H+K has won various awards recognizing the firm as a positive place to work, including the prestigious Work-Life Seal of Distinction, a North American Excellence Award for employer branding and recruiting
Laura is a boomerang employee, returning to H+K in 2015 to assume the role of H+K’s U.S. Director of Talent Acquisition. In her prior roles at H+K, Laura served as the Vice President of Corporate Human Resources and Central Region HR Manager. Prior to joining H+K in 2010, Laura worked for 15 plus years in Senior Human Resources roles in Public Relations for several agencies including Weber Shandwick, Golin Harris, and Edelman.
Laura received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Northwestern University in 1993. Laura also serves on the Board of The LaGrant Foundation, a non-profit whose mission is to increase the number of ethnic minorities in the field of Public Relations.
