Partner and North American M&A Business Leader
In 2015, Jeff joined Mercer’s M&A practice to lead its national Healthcare Vertical and National Investment Thesis Solution team. As a partner, Jeff leverages his nearly 25 years experience as a trusted advisor to business leaders. Jeff specializes in assisting employers across the full spectrum of Mercer’s capabilities.
As an M&A Engagement Manager, he provides strategic deal advice to organizations on human resource related aspects of transactions including start-ups, IPOs, acquisitions, mergers, partnerships, and divestitures. This advice is provided across all deal phases (sourcing, diligence, pre-close and post-merger integration).
During Jeff’s tenure at Mercer, he has served in many capacities within the Health business, including Midwest Market Business leader, an advisor and executive sponsor for large and jumbo employers in healthcare and health-related matters. Jeff was also a founding member and creator of Mercer’s Midwest-based employer coalition and Mercer’s national Jumbo Employer Team, which focuses on understanding the largest US employers’ healthcare-related needs and concerns.
Jeff is a Phi Beta Kappa and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
