Vice President, Total Rewards & Corporate HR Services
Ivory Harris is Vice President Human Resource for BASF Corporation, leading the Total Rewards & Corporate HR Services unit. As part of this role, which she assumed on July 1, 2017, she is a member of the NA Regional HR Leadership Team, responsible for establishing the enterprise-wide HR strategy. Under her direct leadership she is responsible for developing and implementing BASF’s Total Rewards approach and leads the Corporate HR services platform, covering health and welfare benefits, retirement and savings plans, payroll administration, compensation, mobility, leave of absence management, mergers and acquisitions, and the BASF Shared Services teams.
Ivory joined BASF in 2004 and has held several HR leadership and expert roles in North America and Europe. In her previous role, she served as the Global HR Director for Bioscience Research, located in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina wherein she directed total HR operations for a global research division. Preceding this, she was on delegation in Ludwigshafen, Germany as part of a global project to implement an employee development philosophy and process across BASF Group. During her tenure with BASF, Ivory has taken on progressively complex HR leadership roles, across multiple business lines, developing a broad perspective and building a professional brand for creating value by integrating business and HR strategy.
Prior to joining BASF, Ivory was a part of ARAMARK Corporation. Her last position with ARAMARK was as the Regional HR Director in the Sports and Entertainment sector. In this role, she led the administration of HR solutions for the South region, encompassing 6,000 employees in 33 facilities across 11 states.
Ivory earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from the University of Houston.
