The Lisbon Council
Luukas Ilves joins the Lisbon Council as deputy director and senior fellow. In this role, Luukas will bring fresh insights to cutting-edge research on the digital single market, cyber security, eGovernment, artificial intelligence, and a host of other topics, in addition to contributing to the day-to-day management of the Lisbon Council.
Luukas comes from nearly a decade of government service, most recently overseeing the immensely successful digital priorities dossier of the Estonian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
Luukas previously served as counsellor for digital affairs at the Permanent Representation of Estonia to the European Union and as an adviser to former European Commission Vice-President Neelie Kroes.
