Piyush Mathur has spent over 21 years with Nielsen and is a great example of “Nielsen experience”.
He joined Nielsen as a Research Executive from a university campus in India and in a decade and a half, grew to President for India region, becoming part of Nielsen Global Leadership team. He has made an impact on our organization driving double-digit revenue growth across our businesses in Middle East, North Africa, Pakistan and more recently in India. Over the last 5 years, India region has grown 15% CAGR and developed talent and exported to 6 other Nielsen regions around the world. Talent transformation has been at the core of India’s growth with unique initiatives like Nielsen North Point one-year program, Manager’s School and DA Academy.
Piyush is very passionate about unlocking the potential of our talent to the extent that they can’t imagine and through this newly created role, he will develop and execute our global People Analytics strategy providing strategic direction and thought leadership to relatively uncharted territory like reporting/metrics, people analytics and meaningful workforce insights.
