Director, Service and Experience Innovation
Mike Beebe is Manager, Concept and Design, with McDonald’s Corporation based in
Oak Brook, Illinois.
Mike is interested in the intersection of traditional business analytics, design, and user research. He conducts and analyzes research to help develop innovative offerings.
Prior to joining McDonald's, Mike worked as a project manager at Doblin, a research at IA Collaborative, and a graphic designer/researcher at Catapult Thinking in Boston.
Mike made the move to design research and strategy to have an influence on what is
made and to make the artifacts of design more effective. This interest in learning how to use design methodologies and how to use it to help promote business objectives led him to the Institute of Design.
In addition to receiving a Master of Design from the IIT Institute of Design, he holds a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from the University of Cincinnati. The program at the University of Cincinnati exposed him to a wide range of experiences through its coop program, which consists of alternating quarters of work and school.
