Paul M. Tiger is a partner in the New York office of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP.
Mr. Tiger's practice focuses on corporate transactions, particularly mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, responding to stockholder activism and hostile activity, and public and private financings. His work has spanned numerous sectors, including industrials, natural resources, financial services, health care, consumer products, and retail.
Mr. Tiger joined Cleary in 2006 and became a partner in 2014. He received a J.D. degree, with distinction, from Stanford Law School in 2004, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif. Mr. Tiger graduated summa cum laude from the University of Oregon in 1999. From 2004 to 2006, Mr. Tiger was an associate at Stoel Rives LLP in Portland, Oregon.
Mr. Tiger is a member of the Bars in New York and Oregon. He is also licensed in Oregon as a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).
